You admired the Lance Corporal. But saying that, there weren't many people who didn't. The only problem with him, you found, was an ego that could only be matched by his skill, which was saying a lot.
Today was no exception to his big headedness. You see, poor Levi had somehow managed to pick up quite the cold.
You walked into the Lance Corporals room with a cup of hot coffee and a bag. Levi coughed into his had, before sniffling and shifting his gaze to you. His cold stare trying to halt you, but you only laughed at his futile attempt. The Corporal was less frightening in this weak state.
"Now, now, don't do that! I'm only try to help!" You placed the cup next to him, sitting at the edge of his bed.
To you, Levi, being wrapped up in the warmest blanket you could find, was just like a little child. However, his personality was far from innocent.
"I don't need your help." He hissed, blowing his nose into a tissue.
You scoffed, "I beg to differ."
You could tell that he was getting madder and madder with each passing second.
"Will you just leave me alone? I can handle myself!" He yelled.
You pulled out another box of tissues from the bag you brought, handing it over to him, only for him to whack it out of your hands.
"What part of 'I don't need your help' do you not understand, ________?" He smacked the box out of your hand, sending it into some unknown corner of the room.
"Look, I'm not helping you because I have to, Levi! I chose to! You could at least be a little grateful." You spoke in a stern tone. He turned his head to avoid you, and due to the lack of response, you understood he was ignoring you.
"Fine. But don't come crying to me when you get worse." And with that, you stormed out of his room. You had barely make it 3 feet down the corridor, when you heard him calling for you.
You sighed, turning around and returning to Levis room.
"What?" You asked, looking unamused.
"I... Uhm... I kind of need those tissues I smacked out of your hands." His gaze was still averted from yours, but you could see a faint blush dust his cheeks.
"Oh, Levi..." You walked over to where the tissues had landed, "What am I going to do with you?"
You smiled handing him the tissues. His normally sharp eyes softened at your smile, but he still remained emotionless. He took the tissues from you, muttered a half hearted thanks, and refused to give you a second glance.
Sighing yet again, you finally took your leave and headed back to your room.
Due to how little space there was for all of the squadron, you had to share a room with Hanji and Petra.
Petra normally left you alone, so you didn't mind her as much as Hanji. Hanji was convinced there was something going on between you and the Corporal, and she wasn't afraid to speak her mind about it.
Some of the things that spewed out of her mouth were ridiculous. Silly things that ranged from the two of you sneaking out at night to meet in a private place, to secret encounters that only his bedsheets would know of. Sometimes, you wanted to slap her.
"So~ How was your nursing session?" You could hear her suggestive tone.
"Goddammit, Zoe, really? He's sick!" You were shocked at how immature she was acting, though really you felt you shouldn't have.
"Aw, c'mon, ________! I know you like him!" You blushed slightly at her words, "And I'm plenty sure he likes you!"
"Heh, he sure isn't acting like it..."
"Whaddya mean?" Zoe's attention peaked as she watched you with anticipation.
"He was just being very rude..."
"He just doesn't want to feel like he's relying on others. You know how he is. Plus, the cold would only make him crankier than usual." Petra finally spoke up.
"Yeah... But still..."
"Look, it's late. I'm sure he'll be better tomorrow, and apologize." And with that, Petra crawled into bed, followed by Zoe.
You really didn't want to sleep, in case Levi needed something, but the prospect of sleep seemed s nice right now.
Yet, as you laid in bed, you couldn't help but make out the faint sounds of coughing and hacking. Secretly, it upset you, and you really wanted to go check on the poor man. But you risked hearing another made up love story from Zoe by doing so, so instead left it be.
The next morning, you decided to skip your breakfast and instead bring it to Levi.
"He must be really hungry. He hasn't eaten anything since yesterday."
Yet, when you walked in, you were met with the wonderful sight of Levi sprawled on the ground, moaning.
"OH MY GOSH! CORPORAL!" You dropped the tray of food and rushed to his side, getting him to stand.
You slowly walked him back to his bed and laid him down. You raised a hand and placed it against his head.
"Oh no! Levi, your burning up! I think you actually got worse!" You muttered.
"No shit... I got up to try and get you... And I guess I must have been really dizzy..." He huffed.
It made your heart ache at the sight of him. He's never looked this weak. You really wanted to help him, but you remembered what he said yesterday.
"Well... I guess I'll just go and-" Levi stretched out a hand, placing it behind your head, and pulled you down for a kiss.
"I-I'm sorry for what I said last night... I really need you now..." You smiled, finally breaking through his tough exterior.
"Sure, but one thing."
"Hm?"
"Don't kiss me while your sick. I don't want to get ill too... Deal?"
"Deal."

I care for you and I dont want to see you get hurt.

"Dammit!" An enraged voice cried out, causing you to sigh, and leave the comfort of your soft chair. You placed an arm out to your left, your glazed over eyes unable to process your surroundings clearly. Rather, they only provided a sea of dark, that swirled around you. You were left unable to continue to see the colorful array of life. It was a gift that you had taken for granted far too long, and it was stolen from you, from a beast known as a the Female Titan.
"Eren..." You trailed off, a small sigh leaving you. You heard even more angry calls from outside, and with your knowledge of the voice alone, you had depicted the fact it was a you
