You smirked as you lifted your flash light to your face, obviously hinting to everyone that your story was going to be what you called 'nightmare fuel'.
You could see as most of your friends begun huddling together, preparing for anything that may make them jump. You could see Mikasa move closer to Eren, Ymir move towards Christa, and Reiner and Bertholdt wiggled next to Annie.
The only person you noticed hadn't moved further from you was Armin. But, in truth, he looked a little to intrigued, much like he'd been through each of the stories each one of you told. By his lack of reaction, you assumed he wasn't familiar with the concept of horror.
"Looks like I found my victim... You thought, opening your mouth to begin your story.
"Alright, bitches and hoes, sit down while I tell you this story."
"Please don't..." You heard Christa murmur.
"A boy was digging at the edge of the garden when he saw a big toe. He tried to pick it up, but it was stuck to something. So he gave it a good hard jerk, and it came off in his hand. Then he heard something groan and scamper away." You looked around, glancing at each person in turn.
"The boy took the toe into the kitchen and showed it to his mother. 'It looks nice and plump," she said. "I'll put it in the soup, and we'll have it for supper.'" You heard everyone groan in disgust, even the small boy next to you.
"That night his father carved the toe into three pieces, and they each had a piece. Then they did the dishes, and when it got dark they went to bed."
"That's disgusting!" Eren pulled a face.
"Hey, shut up! I'm not done!" You pointed your flash light at him, before continuing with your story.
"The boy fell asleep almost at once. But in the middle of the night, a sound awakened him. It was something out in the street. It was a voice, and it was calling to him."
"Oh no~" Christa begun burying her face into Ymir, peaking out at you.
"'Where is my to-o-o-o-o-e?' it groaned.
"When the boy heard that, he got very scared. But he thought, 'It doesn't know where I am. It never will find me.'"
You could see a small look on fear on everyone's face. Armin had grabbed a near-by pillow and begun burying the lower half of his face in it.
"Then he heard the voice once more. Only now was closer.
"'Where is my to-o-o-o-o-e?" it groaned.
"The boy pulled the blankets over his head and closed his eyes. 'I'll go to sleep,' he thought. 'When I wake up it will be gone.'"
"Don't do that!" Reiner whispered.
"But soon he heard the back door open, and again he heard the voice.
'Where is my to-o-o-o-o-e?' it groaned.
Then the boy heard footsteps move through the kitchen into the dining room, into the living room, into the front hall. Then slowly they climbed the stairs."
At this point, even Eren had clung to Mikasa. You looked at Armin out the corner of your eye, making sure he was still in your reach.
"Closer and closer they came. Soon they were in the upstairs hall. Now they were outside his door.
'Where is my to-o-o-o-o-e?' the voice groaned.
His door opened. Shaking with fear, he listened as the footsteps slowly moved through the dark toward his bed. Then they stopped."
You lowered your flash light, getting ready to turn it off, which would result in everyone being in pure darkness.
"'Where is my to-o-o-o-o-e?' the voice groaned." You switch your flash light off, and, quietly, you shuffled over to Armin who was unaware of your change in position.
"'YOU'VE GOT IT!'" You jumped at Armin, quickly switch your flash light on, aiming at your face to add more fear.
Well... You achieved your goal.
The young blonde screamed, throwing the pillow in his hand into the air, only for it to land next to him.
His scream caused everyone else to scream. You begun rolling around in laughter as Annie turned the light on.
You could only just make out everyone's angered faces through the tears of laughing that blurred your vision.
"That wasn't funny, ______!" You heard Christa yell, though her voice wavered as if she was about to cry as well, though not for the same reason as you,
"Haha! Sorry, I just- You should have seen your faces!" You managed to say through laughter.
You felt something hit you.. It wasn't hard, but you still felt it. Looking up, you saw Armin holding his pillow, positioned as if he was about to hit you again. But what caught you off gaurd the most, was that it was obvious he was crying.
"Oh, shit, Armin... Did I scare you that bad?" You sat up, no longer laughing.
"N-No... I just..." You could tell by how flustered he was getting that it wasn't out of fear that he was crying, but rather embarrassment.
"Aw, man..." You looked around at everyone. Though Christa seemed as if she was about to cry, no tears were present. Instead, like everyone else, she was staring at you, wondering what you were going to do.
"Hey," You placed a hand on his shoulder, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you that bad!"
"Yeah, well..." He muttered, wiping a tear in his eye.
"Cute!" Was all you could think. Until...
"... How about I make it up to you?" You smiled at him, though what you said had an obvious underlying tone.
"Wha-What do you mean? How?"
"Yeah, ________, how?" You heard Eren speak up. You turned to look at him, before returning to Armin.
The boy was confused. That was, until you gripped his collar, pulling him down to meet your lips.
You pulled away smiling at him.
His face flushed, and he looked like he was going to cry again.
You must have embarrassed him again, but you only guessed that due to the pillow that hit your face.
